The Godolphin Arms is part of St Aubyn Estates, a family business with 5000 acres including the Home Farm, tenanted farms, residential cottages, six holiday houses and a building company. The St Aubyn family have owned land in West Cornwall for over 600 years and James St Aubyn, 5th Lord St Levan and his wife Mary live in St Michael’s Mount which they run in partnership with the National Trust.
The Mount is a much loved family home both for the St Aubyns and for the 30 strong island community who help look after over 250,000 day visitors who come to enjoy the castle and island each year.
There has been an inn on the site of the Godolphin Arms for over two hundred years. This current, exciting redesign and renovation is an integral part of the family's commitment to Marazion and the town's increasing vibrancy as a great place to live, work and visit.
